S1, E4 : Linda Oh (Bass)

One word description for Linda Oh; talent. The Malaysia-born, Australia-raised bassist/composer played the clarinet and bassoon before picking up the bass. She moved to New York and quickly made a name for herself. She won the ASCAP Young Jazz Composers Award in 2008; received an honorary mention at the 2009 Thelonious Monk competition and won the 2010 Bell Award for Jazz Artist of the Year. This May 22nd, the Manhattan School of Music graduate will release her second album, entitled "Initial Here." Oh, baby!
