SOFIJA KNEZEVIC for Capsulocity.com:

Sinatra had a point. Once you make it in New York City, you can definitely make it anywhere. Sofija Knezevic hopes to follow in the footsteps of great NYC success stories. In 2011, the Serbian born jazz singer, model and actress arrived in the Big Apple to take a bite out of her dream. At 16, Knezevic was the youngest person to pass the entrance examination for the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria. As a model, she has appeared in several fashion publications including Vogue Italia. Knesevic, 21, is currently working on a Neo-Soul/Jazz influenced album with some of R&B's top producers including the Philly duo of Carvin & Ivan (Ledisi, Justin Timberlake, Musiq Soulchild). Knezevic has toured Europe as a vocalist since she was 7 and continues to do so, while navigating the NYC jazz scene. In this episode, Knezevic performs "God Bless The Child." She also sings "Don't Explain" on a track from "Sofijazz," a film about her life.
